After all in our modern age Energy equals Power and if you control the energy you control the people. Free energy would transform economies worldwide and while its potential benefits are clear, could spark economic and political upheaval in the short term at least.

Moray was neither the first nor the last inventor that the U.S. Patent Office ignored or refused to grant patents to. A quick trawl on the web will attest to this. I hypothesize that this is a way in which the US government and various vested interests try to suppress inventions in various fields.

This was initially going to be an article about Nikola Tesla but digging deeper into various threads it mutated into an article about the suppression of free energy inventions.
